Replace your registration renewal notice


Customer details

This screen requires you to authenticate your customer details. It will only be presented to you if you have not logged in previously using your account details.
You must enter all the fields before you can proceed. They are not case-sensitive.

Steps

  1. Enter your Surname.
  2. Enter your NSW Driver licence or Photo card number.
  3. Enter your Card number located on the front of your NSW Driver licence or Photo card.
  4. Click on Continue to proceed.
  5. Upon a successful authentication, you will be taken to the Vehicle details sreen where you will need your Plate and Vin/Chassis number.

Vehicle Details

This screen allows you to identify the vehicle for which you are requesting the replacement product. Once the vehicle information has been validated in our systems, you will be able to proceed.

Steps

  1. Enter the vehicle's plate number and last 4-digits of the VIN number.
  2. Click the continue button to proceed to the next step.

Notes

A back button is shown if you have entered your customer details in the previous step. However, a cancel button will be shown if you are logged-in to another online application before accessing the Replacement Product application.

Prior to leaving the page, the system checks for any errors. If any are found, a list of error messages will be displayed at the top of the page. Action needs to be taken to address these messages before the website will allow you to progress to the next page. Please call our Contact Centre on 13 22 13 if you require assistance.

Confirm Details

This screen allows you to confirm the details of the transaction you are undertaking before proceeding to the next step.

Steps applicable to replacing registration products

  1. Verify that following details displayed on the screen are correct:
    1. Surname
    2. Plate number
    3. VIN/chassis
    4. Product selected
    5. Reason
    6. Replacement fee
    7. Total fee
  2. Click the Continue or Confirm button to proceed to the next step or click back to go back a step and change any details

Notes

If your order total is $0, a confirm button will be shown to finalise this order, otherwise a continue button will be shown to proceed to the payment page before order finalisation.

Credit Card Payment

This screen allows you to pay for replacement product request. It will only be displayed if the selected enquiry has a corresponding fee.

Steps

  1. Confirm the details of your enquiry:
    1. Transaction type
    2. Surname
    3. Amount payable
  2. Enter the following details:
    1. Credit card number
    2. Expiry date
    3. Card verification code (This is a 3 or 4 digit number that appears on the front or back of your credit card and is used to verify the use of the credit card by the person entering the credit card details.)

  3. Click on "Pay Now" to process the payment; Click on "Back" if you wish to change any details.
  4. Once your payment has been successfully completed you will receive a receipt number.

Confirmation Receipt

When you have completed all the required steps, you will be shown a page that has the final confirmation receipt on it showing the details of the transaction that was processed:

Following option is only available when a Driver Licence is requested as a replacement product

  1. To print the interim driver licence receipt, click on "Print driver licence receipt".

Steps

  1. To print the receipt page, click on "Print".
  2. To logout of the current session, click on "Logout".
  3. To complete a survey, click on "Online survey".

Notes

The system will allow you to provide an Email address to receive a copy of the receipt if you have not logged in. Please call our Contact Centre on 13 22 13 if you require assistance.
